Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing and serving beverages to guests
- Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers
- Upsell and promote drink specials and menu items
- Handle cash transactions and maintain an accurate cash drawer
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Sales skills to upsell and promote menu items
- Hospitality skills to create a welcoming environment for customers
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Retail math skills to accurately handle cash transactions and make change for customers
- Banquet experience is a plus, as bartenders may be required to serve at special events or private parties
- Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines to ensure proper handling of garnishes and ingredients
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Basic math skills to calculate bills, tips, and discounts accurately
